When it comes to pure American performance insanity, there’s no passing up the beast mode of the modern Dodge lineup. With vehicles like the Hellcat SRTs with their 707 horsepower HEMI engines, and the new Durango SRT with 475 ponies, muscle has never been so satisfying. But there’s something even crazier coming out of Auburn Hills this spring—the 2018 Demon SRT.

Billed as a variant of the Challenger designed to destroy quarter mile records while feasting on the tears of their children, the Demon is set for its official unveiling at the New York Auto Show in a month. Until then, Dodge is releasing a video a week showcasing the car’s unique characteristics. This week, Dodge is shedding some light on the insane race-hardened parts that manage its copious quantities of torque. Although the exact number is yet to be unveiled, it is said to make the Hellcat seem almost pedestrian.

We’ll keep you up to date on all the details surrounding the new Dodge Demon when it arrives later this year. In the meantime, our Gonzales, LA dealership would be more than happy to assist you in finding the perfect car for you and yours.
