First, we got word that they were working on a version of the Challenger known as “The Demon,” and now, we’re getting our first look at the all-new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT—the most powerful of its ilk yet.
The Durango SRT offers drivers the same basic interior as the mainstream model, except for one critical detail: it’s insanely fast. How fast, you ask? Well, aside from housing a new 6.4-liter HEMI V8 under the hood, it makes a grand total of 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Although designed to be a performance SUV, it can still tow up to 8,600 lbs., while its unladen 0-60 sprint time sits at a rather astonishing 4.4 seconds. This is an SUV that was made to book it.
