While the recent popularity of certain models like the Chrysler 200 sedan in greater Baton Rouge is surely helping this American car maker's sales, recent numbers indicate that other models are doing their part too. In fact, the Chrysler Group reports that its July sales were the best in the past seven years.

According to Chrysler it was a combination of all the brands under their umbrella. Six Chrysler vehicles, three Dodge and two Jeep SUVs all set sales records for that month. Among those were the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the top sales increase of 30 percent over last year and 15,019 units sold for this past year. It was also the highest selling model.
Chrysler also announced that July marked the 40th month in a row of year over year sales increases. No matter what you drive, that bodes well for the economy.
